Taken during the festival known as Rocio chico, a special pilgrimage between the town of Almonte and the village of El Rocio wich takes place every seven years to commemorate a miracle of the Peninsular War or Independence War (1808-1814) time. The Virgin, totally covered to protect the image from the dust, is beared by young men while women carry her holy valuables as penitence and many men shoot their shotguns towards the sky.
