was born in 1964 in Seville (Spain). I studied Anthropology in my
hometown and worked as as teacher for many years. Currently, I have a
day job as civil servant for the Andalusian
Audiovisual Council. I have always been keen on photography, but it was only when I realized how digital photography could help me to learn very quickly (and in a relatively inexpensive way) that I felt I could also produce decent images. So I bought my first camera (ever), a funny 2 Mp digicam, in 2000... and hence it may be said that I am a "young" photographer, if not exactly a young person. Stock photography is my main field since 2005. It gives me the freedom to choose the subjects I like and to organize my work flow to my liking (and possibilities). I also take some assignments, but, again, only when I find them appealing, since I don't earn my living from photography and I use too be too busy. I am currently contributing to stock agencies like Getty Images, Alamy, Caro or Age Fotostock, and my images, through them or directly licensed by myself, have been published all around the world in books, magazines and newspapers. I am keeping a gallery that contains some of the tearsheets and also a list of some of the media and customers that have used my imagery. I think that my work as stock photographer has taught myself a lot about photography (and a little bit about financial matters as well), but, apart from this, I am trying to run some more personal projects which may help me to develop my own style and vision and to try out new ways of expression.
